A Stylish Hotel Within Easy Access To Manchester City Centre

03 Jul , 2019

This is a relatively new addition to the accommodation available in Manchester. Technically this hotel lies within the borders of Salford, but don’t let that deter you. It is just a few minutes’ walk from Salford railway station and just about 10 minutes from the Spinningfields area of Manchester, which borders on the main street of Deansgate. On the face of it the location may not be inspiring  as its sandwiched between a railway line and busy road, but the building and windows are well soundproofed. If you like Northern Powerhouse cityscapes then you will like the view spanning both Manchester and Salford, this can be fully appreciated from the roof top bar. The location is offset by the value for money as you would pay a premium if this was bang in the middle of Manchester city centre.

Ainscow has both style and character

This hotel is housed in an interesting building which has formerly been used as both a brewery and jam factory. Many of the original interior features have been retained such as steel beams, timbered ceilings and exposed brick walls. The tower of the building has been ingeniously utilised, and is home to three duplex suites.

Facilities offered at this haven in the city

The rooftop bar and terrace is a bonus and shares the same floor as the Lynwood restaurant which serves an international mix of cuisine including English, Italian and Indian, with the local deliciously of Bury black pudding on the starter menu. At the other on of the premises; in the basement, with a superb dry spa facility with treatment rooms offering such things as hot stone massages. There is also a fitness room and a space for classes such as aerobics and yoga. In between the rooftop and the cellar is a more than presentable reception with friendly staff. The rooms are all comfortable and full of character and have individuality, due to the layout of the original building.
